WELCOME TO HAYFORK

At the center of town is the Town Square, bordered by our public library and and post office, which is a central meeting place for neighbors to chat.

On the west end of town is our lovely park, with family picnic area, children's playground, tennis courts and swimmingpool. Also in this area are the Little League Park and the RoderickSenior Center.

The Trinity County Fairgrounds, one mile south of town, is the setting for many events and activities, most notably the Trinity County Fair, held each year the last weekend of August. This is a real, old-fashioned country fair with homemaking and agricultural exhibits, mule races, carnival, horse show, Jr. Livestock Auction, and much, much more.

Just north of town, off Brady Road, is the Hayfork Reservoir, anothergreat place for picnicking, hiking, fishing, and Bald Eagle watching.

At the Forest Service Office you can pick up maps of hiking trails, equestrian trails, and some suitable for dirt bikes, all of varyinglevels of difficulty.

In Hayfork, you will find a full range of businesses to take care of your needs; a live-in vacation area, schools and medical facilites, and what we hope will become for you, the friendliest neighbors around!

Again, Welcome to Hayfork!
