Weaverville Realty will work hard to market your home professionally and
effectively. Here are some things you can do to show your home at it's
best.
"Curb appeal" is very important. Clean the front door and the area
around it. Mow the lawn, sweep the patio and walks, remove trash from
the yard. Many people make up their minds about a house before they go
through the front door.
Wash the windows and fix chipping or fading paint.
Make sure your house smells good. When a showing is scheduled, bake
some bread, drop some vanilla or cinnamon in a hot pan or use some
"clean" smelling spray, not a heavy flower smell.
Clean off all counters and tables. Put away any clutter.
Leave the house when potential buyers come in, even if you only go out
to the yard. They feel more comfortable without sellers peering over
them.
Put the dogs and cats out. Eliminate pet odors prior to the arrival of potential buyers.
